How it started
ACMES started in British Columbia with a simple idea: build the kind of company we wanted to see more of here at home.
We wanted to create genuinely good products while keeping as much of the work as possible within our own community. That means finding specialized manufacturers, designers and businesses in British Columbia first, looking elsewhere in Canada when we need to, and being transparent when something has to be made farther away.
There isn't one category ACMES is supposed to stay inside. We started with nutrition, but the idea has always been bigger than that. Apparel, everyday goods and whatever comes next all belong here if we can make something we're proud to put the ACMES name on.

An acme is a peak. ACMES is plural because there is never just one. Whether it’s making a sports team, perfecting a recipe, or simply getting out of your comfort zone, there’s always another peak to pursue and something to look forward to. Reach it, then find the next one. Again & Again.
Why the orca
From childhood memories of Bjossa at the Vancouver Aquarium, to cheering for the Canucks, to exploring the coastlines of British Columbia — the orca has always represented home.
